Former interim president of University of Houston-Downtown named Rutgers University chancellor
The University of Houston’s Antonio D. Tillis will be the new chancellor of Rutgers University – Camden as of July 1.
Tillis will lead the New Jersey university, which has 7,200 students in 39 undergraduate and 29 graduate programs, 1,100 employees and an annual budget of more than $173 million. The chancellor role reports to the president of the Rutgers University system.
