For those of you who don’t want the Texans to overpay free agents this offseason…

Comments I keep seeing on every posts about whether or not we should try to sign Saquon, Evans, or resign Schultz is that we better not "overpay" for them.

I'm not sure how much y'all pay attention to the NFL outside of the Texans, but the blueprint has literally been set by the rest of the league of how to approach free agency when you have a great young quarterback. You OVERPAY for free agents and stack the roster while you still have your young quarterback on their rookie contract.

We shouldn't care if we overpay since this is literally going to be the only time we can afford to stack the roster with veteran talent until CJ becomes the highest paid player in the league. Once CJ is off of his rookie contract we can nitpick who we shouldn't overpay, but right now is the time to be aggressive!

But anyways rant over, lets just enjoy the offseason and trust in Nick!
