For this upcoming winter, does anybody have any good ideas on how to prepare for something like the February freeze?

So to clarify. I’m not adept at all when it comes to preparation whether it be rain or snow. Since we have begun the transition to winter months, i’d like to to start preparing now in case our state’s power grid fails us again or some other freak weather event happens.

If anybody on this sub can provide some tips to live a week or more in any type of natural disaster, it would be much appreciated.

Bonus points if you have any amazon lists/links!

Edit: I should mention I don’t necessarily have a budget, but something in the multiple thousands probably won’t happen 😅 it would be nice for this post to be accessible for many people
