for next election- an aggregated list of Harris county and Houston election endorsements

wanted to repost my reply on the zohran post because i think it's worth posing broadly~

something that i found this year that was of outsized effect was messaging less-in-the-loop friends with both a friendly reminder to vote AND a link to an excel sheet which aggregated the results of over a dozen houston groups and electeds' endorsement lists.

I was actually surprised by how much positive feedback and expressed desire for this kind of info for local elections i got from dropping the same message in a couple of group chats — I didn't put together the list; i got it through my network however- if anyone would like to get a blast from me with the sheet for next election dm me!

I really think this is one thing folks can do to drive turnout – the bar is so low and there is enough unchanneled desire to "get involved in local politics" that literally everyone can probably turn out at least a couple more eager voters amongst their friends and family just by giving them some accessible and clear info to act on.
