For anyone attending Hcc, beware of Professor Change last moment.

I think everyone needs to read this. I feel like hcc did me dirty. I took a summer class and I am not going to call the professor out and give you the name but Hcc changed my professor at the last moment.

I registered for a professor that had very high ratings and lots of positive reviews. The day before class starts, I log into my hcc portal to see what the room number was, the professor entirely changed to someone random. He had no reviews on rate my professor and doesn't seem to have any experience when I searched him up. I think everyone deserves quality education and the professor/instructor they paid for. Because not all professors are the same. I had a feeling Hcc knew very few people would choose him so they switched the professor the last moment so the student would not see the change.

I am not asking for an easy grade, but having an experienced professor with reviews, you can have a good overview of the class and what to expect. This guy, has no experience. He decides to add in random assignments and probably doesn't understand what a syllabus is for. Does not explain the assignments and dismisses the class in 40 minutes when it's a 2 hour class in the summer.

And if Hcc is going to change the professor, definitely change it to someone that's equivalent as in experience and ratings. Because that's why majority of the students registered in the first place.

I am going to UofH next year so I know this most likely is never going to happen. But everyone should be careful and check the last moment if that is the professor they registered and paid for. If not, drop it. Protect your gpa.
