For all the Mills haters: Josh Allen didn’t have a 300 yard passing game until his 3rd year in the league. Give Davis time to develop, he’s looked solid thus far.

Josh Allen didn’t even have a 300 yard passing game until his third year in the league. Mills has looked very solid (for a rookie) given the situation he’s been thrown into. The Jets, 49ers, and bears would be tickled pink to see their rookie QBs have some of the games that Mills has had. The toxic hot takes are pointless. I don’t know what any half intelligent Texan fan was expecting this year as well as next. We are tanking for a rebuild. We are not trying to be competitive. The hiring of David Culley should make that extremely clear.

It’s also clear for anyone with a real football mind that the coaching staff has an agenda with Mills and it’s not to try to win the game at all costs. They are playing it safe with him trying to help him progress and build confidence so he can grow as a QB. He had less than 10 starts in college! His development is much more critical than trying to win right now.

I hate the blind rage takes by so many Texans fans, it’s by far the most unappealing part of this fan base. I consider myself a fan of the Texans but don’t associate myself with most Texans fans because of the toxicity. It’s the same toxicity that makes these fans obsessed with hating and being envious of the Cowboys when you can’t find a single Cowboys fan on Reddit that has any hate or I’ll will towards the Texans. Little brother syndrome at it’s finest. Be better.
