Flying in this weekend – list of live music in downtown Houston?

Hey all, my gf and I are flying into Houston on Friday for a concert Saturday night. She's a Texan native and misses the music scene so much – she mentioned last night, trying to find a bar playing country music Friday evening, but I haven't been able to find much. In my town (Charleston SC), we have a website that lists local music acts – I didn't know if you have something like that?

Also, if someone could recommend a nice/unique restaurant for Friday as well?

We're staying right in the middle of downtown (Franklin St), so close to downtown preferred.
