Flying in for a concert at 713 Music Hall

Hey yall, I could use some help. I’m flying in for the Foo Fighters show at 713 Music Hall next month. I haven’t spent much time in Houston, except for visiting AstroWorld a couple of times when I was a teenager, so I’m unfamiliar with the area.

What hotels nearby would you recommend? Is it walkable or should I Uber/rent a car? (I’m from New Orleans, I know to keep my head on a swivel in downtown areas.) Anything else you think I need to know?
