Fixing a botched haircut

Last week got a long layer haircut on medium/long very straight fine hair. Hairdresser cut It dry and then curled it so I wasn’t able to assess the damage in the salon when it was straight. A couple days later I wash it and air dry it and NOW I hate it. It looks extremely choppy. Where can I go to fix it? I don’t want to go back to the same stylist anymore Please recommend Memorial/energy/ Katy area
