Fitness roundup: Equinox-owned fitness chain arrives in Houston; Katy fitness complex inches closer to opening

Just in time for New Year’s resolutions, three national fitness brands are growing — or making their first mark — in Houston.

New York-based Blink Fitness, an Equinox-owned fitness chain, is making its Houston debut Jan. 16. 

The gym is set to open its first Houston-area location at 8201 Broadway St. in south Houston. Its second and third locations, at 7840 Long Point Road in Spring Branch and 11145 Westheimer Road in Westchase, will open Jan. 17. Each gym is donating $10,000 worth of…
