Fishing spots around Houston ?

Long story short , use to fish a lot when I was younger and have recently gotten back into it but can’t find anywhere to fish. Mainly tried bear creek park and a couple other small places/parks but no luck. Was wondering if anybody know of some spots around Houston and what do you recommend on using? Thanks in advance!
