First look: H-E-B’s massive headquarters expansion

H-E-B LP has submitted initial plans for the 170,000-square-foot tech center at its local headquarters to the San Antonio Historic and Design Review Commission for approval at the Jan. 15 meeting.

The HDRC documents show conceptual designs of phase one of its campus expansion, indicating the five-story project now includes 170,000 square feet — 20,000 more than was initially announced in August.
