First electric bill

Coming up to my first month of living in texas/houston and just got my first electric bill, the billing period is for 21 days and for 1096kwh $130, the next full month is forecasted to be 1550-1900 kwh for $240-300

Is this normal? I live alone in a 1bed 1 br bottom apartment, keep the ac at 75° with only a couple appliances running at a time.
