Finding New Tenants

It’s looking like I will need someone to take over my lease in the spring or early summer. Our lease agreement says that we can avoid paying out of our lease by finding new tenants (as long as they are approved by management). We have some connections to grad students at UH (which is nearby) but other than that, we don’t know anyone who needs a place to rent.

Has anyone successfully found a stranger to take over their lease? How did you go about doing so?
