Finding a Job.

24 male dual American-Canadian wanting to move back to Houston.

Some more info about me:

• Graduated with bachelors in Mechanical Engineering in 2022.

-No engineering work experience.

-Have been working as a restaurant manager for the past 10 months at a busy downtown fast food place in Toronto.

-I don’t mind working outside of the engineering field as a start.

-Would love to be able to afford an apartment in surrounding areas, like cypress where some family is.

Questions:

• what fields are booming in Houston area, and where should I look besides the usual indeed, monster, etc.

-Are recruiters a good idea?

-good/diverse areas to live for a 20 something

• how expensive is it to get a car + insurance?

• other essentias I should know about Texas before moving
