Final update on the ring I found at Minute Maid stadium: It’s not real

It has been five days. Still no calls from the lost and found saying someone has a claim.

Today I got it checked out by a local jeweler to see if it was even real and it’s a cubic zirconium ring with gold plated sterling. It’s basically worth nothing. I suppose people got angry with me earlier because I never mentioned that it was not a wedding ring, it was just some ring. I’m kind of annoyed that my efforts to return it (however unusual in the way I went about it) meant nothing considering how worthless it is.

Anyway, now I know that said ring is less than $100 at least, but if the owner still makes a claim, I’ll do what I can to return it to Minute Maid. Although I doubt anyone would make a fuss over something so cheap.
