Fetch delivery service?
So, my apartment decided to force us to use the good ol' dreaded Fetch delivery service effective January 1st, except food delivery and heavy packages. The obvious reasons behind this switch is because of the kickbacks Fetch gives complexes along with them no longer being responsible for packages. I find this annoying because packages were all stored in a secure room in the leasing office that had a camera inside with cubbies separated by floor number which made everything easy to find.
Here's the kicker… my apartment complex requires a key fob for every door in the building including the elevators therefore Amazon can't even deliver to our doorsteps if we wanted them too. I assume if they attempt to deliver to the office during operating hours, they will deny the delivery or make them sit out in the hallway in front of the leasing office. Alternatively, I could have Amazon packages be delivered offsite but that's inconvenient. I also have family in another state that likes to randomly send me gifts as well.
Is anyone else being forced to use Fetch and if so, how is it going? How is the timing with Amazon since prime offers 2 day shipping whereas Fetch is now the middleman?
