Feral Cats and Fleas

We have been battling fleas in our home / yard for four months now. Our animals are on prescription treatment (Simperica Trio). We have had a pest control company come out 4 times to treat the inside and outside of our home … And yet the fleas persist.

I dont know what to do anymore than look to the source and the only thing I can think of is that the feral cats in our neighborhood are infested and spread them when they roam through our yard. Would it help the situation to try to trap them and bring them to the shelter?

I just let my dog outside to pee and found several on him when he came in and one on my leg too. Yes of course they eventually die, but its honestly really traumatic. Does anyone have suggestions or even a little bit of hope that this will get better? I am truly at my wits end.
