Feel at Home at London Cafe

From the moment you walk in, you will feel the welcome from London Cafe that comes from the staff and the owners of London Cafe, a family run restaurant on Highway 6 South and Westheimer.

Andro Kano and Lisbet Marquez share with you their experience along with a behind the scenes kitchen video and an Eats Feature with two favorite dishes. The kitchen tour was a success as Chef Alek and his wife Aurora tackled two of the dishes for the Eats Feature. 

The Eats Feature went down like this:

We took a deep dive into the Meat Lovers Omelet and the French Toast Fruit Explosion. The Meat Lovers Omelet is packed with everything your meat cravings need – including spicy ground sausage, applewood bacon smoked ham and cheddar cheese. Everyone knows that Cheddar Makes it Better and this Omelet delivers on that promise. 

The Fruit Explosion Toast is something out of this world. As you saw in the video above, the toast is dipped into an egg batter and tossed on the grill for a crispy cooked perfection. Aurora makes sure that the fruit is fresh as she prepares the topping for one of the signature dishes at London Cafe…

I asked Andro Kano to share a few words with us about his take on London Cafe. 

London cafe is by far one of the best places to go when you are feeling the urge to try some of Houstons finest breakfast, lunch or dinner. Every time we go is always an extraordinary experience. From the food to the service to even the ambiance. Owner operator chef Alek and his wife put not only the freshest ingredients, best herbs and spices, but they still make time to visit every single guest. 

        You can get anything on the menu from their wonderful Whole Hog Skillet to their famous Captain Crunch Fruit Explosion. Everything is always fresh, and the taste is unbelievable. It is a small but desirable and amazing comfortable restaurant.  They just added 4 different types of hot sauces. So if you are into heat go crazy from a ghost pepper to a jalapeno hot sauce, habanero, and Cerrano. You can add as much fire to any dish you choose to flame up. You could also just indulge and enjoy any dish you order. I know it will put a smile on your face and knock you socks off!
