Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas names new leader following Rob Kaplan’s retirement last year
The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has tapped its new leader after a six-month search.
Lorie Logan, who currently serves as manager of the System Open Market Account for the Federal Open Market Committee, part of the Federal Reserve, will begin as president and CEO of the central bank’s Dallas hub on Aug. 22. The role will keep Logan on the FOMC to create monetary policy, representing the Eleventh Federal Reserve District, covering Texas, southern New Mexico and northern Louisiana.
