Exploring the city with METRO
Anyone tried exploring the plethora of routes METRO has? I'm from the Chinatown/Sharpstown area and whenever I have free time aside as a uni/college student, I try to explore as much of the routes I can. The routes I haven't used are 3, 7, 9, 23, 45, 51, 54, 59, 64, 66, 70, 71, 79, 80, 87, 89, 151, 309/310, 360. I've used P&R rides 204, 228, 248, 269, 270. I started this "bus hopping" journey as I thought it's dumb how one can claim to know their city when there's too much we don't know (and may not want to sometimes). It's insane but also changed my perspective on life.
I don't like driving cars (even though I have a license) because I'm scared of being obliterated by another "metal box" for reasons and broke. Sometimes I use Uber or carpool if it's late and unsafe.
I posted because I was wondering if anyone had similar thoughts.
I put the links below for reference.
