Experience Living Downtown, recommend?

Looking for a new spot since my lease is coming up and I’m considering moving to the Downtown area (specifically next to Minute Maid Park) in one of the high rises around there. Anyone have any experience living there, any pros/cons? Would you recommend? I currently live along Washington Avenue, am also considering staying around there.
