Executive director of Houston innovation hub ‘The Ion’ resigns

The leader of The Ion, billed as Houston’s “innovation hub,” has resigned.

Gabriella Rowe resigned from her position as executive director of The Ion late last week to focus her efforts on new opportunities, she confirmed to the Houston Business Journal. She will remain in Houston.

The Ion, a roughly 300,000-square-foot entrepreneurial campus being built out in Midtown, is being financed by the Rice Management Co. Representatives from Rice Management Co. were not immediately available to comment…
