Evaluating Mills/Texans Offense in the second half vs Seahawks

I would say that in the 2nd half, 2 of the plays they showed that were on him. @10:51 he has to get that ball out quicker or move on to Conley. The defender does a good job there. @11:02 that's just a bad throw- looks like his feet got happy. Other than that he needs either better play calling or for his receivers to win on routes quicker. Also that OL/blocking scheme is not consistently helping him. For example, @11:33 his LG and C are holding and Heck is getting bullied so he can't even roll out to his right to hit his intended receiver (it looks like he saw the #2 receiver open). At the same time this is one of the two times he has to trust his arm to get that ball out fast and accurately as he could have made the throw without moving from the pocket but he seems unsure about his release time or arm strength (I'm not entirely sure which at this point). @9:24, he should just have his TE block because clearly it's a cover 1 with a blitz and that TE route ain't helping at all. Instead, if the TE blocks there, he could have bought an extra second and Mills could have seen that Cooks was jammed and hopefully that means Collins is his 2nd read and he could get it to him instead. Overall not bad for a rookie but I still want him to work on that arm, particularly arm strength and release time. Can't wait to see more, as we play the Jags and then a tough test against the Chargers.
