Essential workers and downtown parking

Hi all, for those who work downtown in food service, how do y’all get to work/where do you park?

A Starbucks barista makes something like $9/hour – and the cheapest daily parking (Parkopedia) is something like $9/day near that Starbucks. That’s sacrificing an hour of work in an 8-hour workday just to park where you work. For work.

Do essential workers take the lightrail or metroline bus service? Park and ride? Otherwise I can’t see parking downtown for your job as financially feasible.
