Engagement ring jeweler recommendations?

Hey all! I just wanted to get everyone’s opinion on jewelers for engagement rings in the city.

I had tried initially with James Allen and found the perfect ring, but their payment options kind of suck. I have money in my checking account, but am not in the position to drop 7.5k all at once. Also, they had an option through splitwise that would split the payment in 3 via credit card. I was fine with that until they attempted to charge me 5k on my credit card (which had a 3k spending limit. The only other option was to apply for a JA credit card, which I don’t want to do. So that experience kind of sucked.

So with that being said, I know they say you have to have a good relationship with your jeweler when buying rings and I’m in the market for one. I would like a personable jeweler that will help me out and give me an affordable price with payment options if possible. Thank you!
