Energy Trader stabbed inside Mollys Pub Downtown 16th or 17th – any info?

I forget if it was Wednesday or Thursday but a group of energy traders met up after work at Mollys Pub. These are upper level traders, from different companies, but everyone knows everyone kind of deal. Well, while they were hanging out, a guy comes up stabs one of them In the neck 2 times and once again in the chest. The guy takes off and was so fit that no one could catch up to him. The guy got away. As for the trader, alll I know is that he was rushed to the ICU. His vocal chords were slashed but he will live. This is so crazy to me. The guy was one of the higher up traders, and everyone is just so shocked. They are saying that it was a random stabbing but I find it hard to believe. It’s not like this happened at 2 am, on the metro or off the side of the road. It’s also not the case where the person who stabbed him was some homeless crazy guy. This guy was fit, athletic and clearly new what he was doing that he would walk into a bar, up to a guy surrounded by other men, and do such a quick and clean assault before taking off. This sounds like a hit man…. And clearly someone wanted this guy to have a bruttle death. I mean, it would have been way easier to shoot the guy from across the street. This was up close and personal, a stab to the heart. I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s so wild. The trader, well… if his conscious is clean of dirty corporate dealings/money, then he will have to question who could have done this. If he’s married, he will wonder if it was the wife… for insurance or who knows, if he comes from a wealthy family… he would have to wonder maybe a sibling in order to get the full inheritance… I mean how can he sleep at night now? He has no clue who did this, and whoever it is will smile to his face and want him dead. He also can never trust he is safe. At any minute someone could come again. If it was a random stabbing, the psychological and life damage is just insane… his employer I imagine is having someone comb through every thing he’s done, because they have to be worried too. His wife, especially if they have kids… she will be on edge if he is telling the truth (assuming she is innocent)… I mean this is just such a wild story. If anyone has any info, I would really appreciate some more details on what happened….
