Energy niche headhunter/recruiter

Posting for my husband who is never on Reddit…

He has an unusual, possibly unique background that combines the hands-on skill and knowledge of a Master Electrician with research and testing of cutting-edge home energy technology. Sort of a blue-collar/white-collar resume.

He's been working in the energy sector in Houston for the past eight years — mostly in emerging technology. He and his team identify, test, and report on new technology in the residential space.

He is also a Master Electrician, so he has a unique combination of skills and knowledge — green energy, high-end home technology and other emerging technology combined with the ability to actually do the installation.

He stays current with the latest innovations, from EVs, solar, home battery systems — you name it. If a company has developed anything in the alternative energy niche, he probably knows about it, and can tell you whether or not it will work! And, he probably knows how to install/program it himself.

With about 10 more years before retirement, he's looking for a new opportunity, still in the niche of new energy technology. We're willing to relocate to just about anywhere in the world.

At this point, though, he wants to work with a headhunter who can help him with his resume, LinkedIn profile, and define a career path and roles that will most benefit from his skillset. Problem is he needs someone very knowledgeable in this particular niche.

He's definitely a unicorn. Can anyone suggest an agency, career coach, or avenue for him to pursue? He's happy where he is but this isn't upwardly mobile.
