Employees and aircraft orders: What we now know about Southwest’s deal with Boeing over the 737 Max

Southwest Airlines Co. announced Dec. 12 it has reached an agreement with The Boeing Co. related to the grounding of the Boeing 737 Max — and the airline reiterated plans to share proceeds with its employees.

Southwest CEO Gary Kelly wrote in an internal memo in September that the company would look into ways to share proceeds with all of its employees.
