Emergency rule of rental apartment

I'm not originally from here, so I'm seeking your advice. Last Thursday, the unit next to mine experienced a leak, their water pipe to go through my ceiling. The plumbers entered my unit without permission(I found it when I came back), already began replacing the pipe from the kitchen to the bathroom through the living room. The office told me with very authoritative, it’s an emergency, you’re not owner, we don’t need your permission blur. Blur.

Anyway rule is rule. But my point was they left a mess, which took me 2-3 hours to clean, leaving me unable to cook for our family dinner, so we had to order from a restaurant. Today, they began repairing the hole from the kith hen to the bathroom like a quarter size of whole ceiling. However, working alone, he couldn't finish, extending it to tomorrow. Moreover, they used my water to clean their tools, leaving my space messy and dusty. Consequently, I can't cook tonight and will have to buy dinner again. Do you think it's reasonable to ask for compensation for this inconvenience?
