Electricity Renewal Calculation
I was just coming here to ask the same how do I calculate the breakdown of the bill? I tried Google and couldn't get a solid answer.
So I've been a Constellation customer for about 3 years and it states my current rate is 12.4c per kwh and it's going up to 14.1c per kwh for renewal.
I was on a Tiered Pricing Plan based off usage it would be a set rate and then double that same amount once you hit the next tier. It seems that they are offering a Usage Credit Fixed Rate renewal offer and not the Tiered Pricing.
18.0c for 500kwh 14.1c for 1000kwh 14.9c for 2000kwh
Estimates average price per KWH breakdown
Energy Charge 13.40c per KWH Minimum Usage Gee. 0.0000 $ per bill month TDU Delivery Charge 3.7332c per KWH TDU Delivery Charge $4.39 per bill month Residential Usage Credit $35 per month if usage >=1000kwh Residential Usage Credit $15 per month if Usage is >=2000kwh
Does anyone know how to calculate based on the usage?
My high was 2551 Kwh last July and seems to be around that amount each July.
I'm looking at switching to Frontier as it shows this for New Customers via the Power to Choose website.
11.1c for 500kwh 10.6c for 1000kwh 10.4c for 2000kwh
It says "Above price disclosure based on following prices"
Energy Charge 6.4400c per kwh TDU Delivery charge $4.39 per billing cycle TDU Delivery charge 3.7332c per kWh
My problem is I don't know how to do the formula for the breakdown to figure out the cost. Can anyone help out?
