Electricity Rates

Hi, I am moving to Houston next week and I need to select my electric plan. I tried looking at powertochoose and all plans are 60 months with insane average prices. Is there any alternate options or tips anyone can share to bypass such a long commitment? I am used to paying $0.10 to $0.12/kwh.
