Electricity bill

Is anyone else’s Eletric bill super high? Our last bill was $298 and used 1700 kWh and tbh idk how that’s possible. I live in 2 bed room apartment 1298 sq ft. Is this normal? were paying 17c per kWh. It’s never been this high so I’m thinking about switching because I’m not about to pay 200-299 a month. Our bill use to be 100-180 max
