El Tiempo marg prices skyrocket after viral video

Meant to post this earlier in the week, but life got busy!

Last homestand, El Tiempo margs were $15.99. Hefty price tag, but we all know they pack a punch.

Then, the viral video of a couple passed out in the mez with El Tiempo cups in their hands. It made rounds on TikTok and Twitter. (Yes, I’m deadnaming the app.) I just knew something would change. Some kind of attempted limit, a price jump, weaker recipe, something.

Well, I was right. This past week, the price skyrocketed to $20.99 each!!! 5 whole dollars!!! The lines were pretty dead, even for weekday games.

It’s sad that people take it too far and ruin it for the majority. That said, if you need help, please seek it. There’s no shame in admitting you need a helping hand. It could save your life and even the lives of others!
