East River project

Anyone have thoughts or opinions on buying a home near there? I really like the EaDo area, just don’t know if I’d stay there for more then 4 to 5 years and was wondering if buying a home near there was a good idea. Every home I see on har mentions the East River Project as some massive plan coming soon-ish?
