Easiest commute for viewing the eclipse (April 8th) from Houston?

I plan on leaving town from Spring Branch area at 6am. What are the pluses and minuses as far as roads go? The totality fun happens at about 1:30 pm.

I'm thinking Waco since the biggest city to worry about is College Station. Corsicana seems like a winner as well, but 45 can really be hell. Thoughts?
