Early voting for the December 9th runoff starts today

Hi everyone! If you're a regular in this sub you probably already know this, but early voting for the December 9th City of Houston runoff starts today, November 27th and ends Sunday, December 3rd. I thought I'd compile a few resources, especially since fewer people will vote in this election compared to the first one. This info comes from here.

How to vote:

There will be 41 early voting sites in Harris County for the run-off. You can search here for your voting location. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3.

For Houston residents in Fort Bend County, three polling sites will be open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.. On Saturday, Dec. 2, polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 12 – 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3. Search here for locations.

In Montgomery County, polling locations will be open from Monday, November 27 to Saturday, December 2 from 8 to 5 p.m. Polls will not be open Sunday, December 3, however, early voters can cast their ballots on Monday, December 3 and Tuesday, December 4 from 8 to 5 p.m.

The deadline to register to vote has passed, but residents can check their voter registration status here. If you are registered to vote in Houston you can vote in the runoffs even if you did not vote in the Nov. 7 election.
