EaDo sports bar closes tab for good

Lucky’s Pub and companion bar Lucky’s Lodge in East Downtown Houston have closed their doors permanently.

“This may be the end of 801 St. Emanuel…but it won’t be the end of Lucky’s Pub,” the EaDo sports bar posted on its Facebook page on June 13. The sister bars’ last day of operations was June 12.

Lucky’s Pub owner Anthony Wegmann told the Houston Chronicle the company was unable to negotiate a sustainable lease with its landlord, but he hopes to find a new location for the bar close by.
