Dusty values Maldy for his game planning and helping out pitchers, but would he not do that if Yainer started more games?

Say Yainer starts 2-3 times a week with Maldy starting the other 2 times through the rotation. Would Maldy really not help out the pitchers by giving his info and data to the pitchers and Yainer to help them out?

I would hope so. And also this just seems like a thing a lot of catchers do. It's their job to scout the other teams' hitters and their tendencies for game calling purposes.
