Calling it now. Texans will trade up to draft Jer'Zhan Newton

Texans will trade their #42 and 4th round pick to move up pick Jer'Zhan Newton. Most likely either with Carolina at #33 or Patriots #34.

Texans defensive staff and scouts were on hand for Jer'Zhan Newtown's Pro Day. From all accounts, he looked outstanding, showcasing elite explosion and power, and has fully recovered from the jones fracture in his foot.
