DPS advice/checklist

I am renewing my driver’s license but my current (valid and unexpired) one is from Illinois. I want to make it go as smooth as possible lol My documents I have – birth certificate, social security card, few months of rent and utility bills with my Texas address. I don’t own a vehicle so I read that I just sign a form stating I don’t own one. I am 29 and I do wear corrective lenses. Illinois requires a current prescription or a vision test but I don’t know about Texas. Appointment is already set for DPS. Anything else I need to bring or expect? Thanks!
