Douglas Elliman’s plan to acquire John Daugherty Realtors reportedly changes
A New York-based real estate firm’s original deal to acquire one of the most well-known residential brokerages in Houston reportedly has changed.
Douglas Elliman told the Houston Chronicle that its plan to acquire John Daugherty Realtors fell through due to a “legal technicality” but declined to elaborate. Daugherty himself still plans to join the New York firm, but the deal will be under a different structure in which he will not bring his firm’s name, per the Chronicle.
