Don’t discount the smoke about Mulugheta/Avery/Burney + Stroud connection

I'm not sure how we've all forgotten this, but a quick recap:

David Mulugheta + Quincy Avery + Bryan Burney all worked closely with DW4.The same guys are working with CJ Stroud. All 3 of them.

Mulugheta is who most people know as the connecting piece between DW4 and CJ. He has done very well for his clients and they all seem to love him.

He also has a history of trying to get his players traded. I get it, he's an agent, he wants what's best for his team. If you're ownership who has dealt with this and him before, do you go back for seconds? (D. Watson, J. Ramsey twice, B. Baker now).

Last- Mulugheta + DW4 were clear about wanting Bienemy/Saleh and Omar Khan for GM for the texans. They didn't get that, and that's when s**t started to hit the fan in Jan 2021. There are way more tinfoil hat conspiracy theories about this that I won't get into.

Avery is the QB coach DW4/CJ work out with, and has been a huge supporter of DW4 since day 1. When info started leaking about DW4's alleged sexual assault cases, he tweeted about how great Deshaun's character was, and that there may be a smear campaign against him. He tweeted in Feb '21 asking "what's the criteria for a qb asking to get traded, then actually traded?" with regards to DW4 trade request. He tweets a lot, is actually a pretty good twitter follower.

REMINDER: Avery also was involved with the sexual assault scandal in having "referred deshaun to one of his clients"

Bryan Burney is the marketing manager of DW4 and now Stroud. He probably represents the biggest wildcard in the equation. He supposedly helped Deshaun with booking massages and insisted they signed NDAs with Deshaun after the massages. Pre sexual assault publicity, he was liking tweets like "F**k the Houston Texans" (a good thread read now!) and liking tweets about sending Deshaun to the Jets.

Oh yeah, and he deleted his twitter and started a brand new one in November '21.

TLDR: It is actually possible that

– The texans don't want to deal with these 3 guys again- These 3 guys don't want to deal with the Texans again

for a star player at QB.

EVEN IF Caserio was able to end the agreement with DW4->browns and both sides happy.

Players are not just film tape and physical attributes. These guys are interviewing for jobs. Sometimes a guy ain't right for the job – and the guy doesn't want the job either.
