Dominicans/Cubans/Venezuelans/Colombians??

So I have been living in Houston for a hot minute… I grew up in the Caribbean, so this is not bashing other Hispanic nationalities ( I have friends from many other hispanic nationalities, but our cultures can be very different and I really miss to have people that I can fully relate to, even speak our slang) and honestly I miss my culture so much. It makes it really hard because of work reasons I need to be in Houston (as opposed to a more caribbean friendly place like Miami, maybe NY), but I have not been able to meet others like me, or places/clubs that are relatable.

Can you guys provide any advice as to how to meet or where to go to meet or have a taste of home, meet others like me that maybe migrated at a later age, just like minded people. I mean, when there is only one Dominican restaurant in a gigantic foodie/melting pot like Houston you know you are definitely a minority LOL.
