Dog in need of rehoming

I was getting my own pup's shots updated today, and the vet mentioned that one of her other patients' families had had a medical emergency resulting in their need to rehome their pet (main caregiver disabled, other caregiver unable to care for both dog and newly-disabled spouse). Sounds like a truly sucky situation for all involved.

She didn't mention the dog's breed, just that he is around 70 lb and 'high energy'. I can't handle another dog, but maybe someone on here will be able to. The vet works at Tanglewood Animal Hospital.
