Dog adoption places?

Met 3 people at my neighborhood park. They wanted to pet my dog and seemed cool. We talked for a few but when we separated I forgot to ask their name or exchange contacts 💀. 2 were Egyptian and 1 who had 9 cats was labonese.

Hope I see them again but they are harwin which is like 20mins and I didn't exchange contact. The egyptian lady was wondering and now I am also. Where would I be able to find a place to adopt a dog? Which places are considered good recommendations?
