Does your water come from a Harris County M.U.D. and have you had it tested? We’re in MUD 202 and the water seems nasty lately.

Just curious about a way to have the water analyzed without spending hundreds of dollars.

I see test kits on Amazon ranging from really cheap to hundreds of dollars.

I don't really care about the detailed chemical analysis, I just want to know what's in the water that's making it taste so bad.

Of course, we don't drink it straight from the tap. We have filters for the fridge water & ice maker, and a Brita filter pitcher.

But just washing and showering, we can tell the water has something wrong with it.
