Does this happen to any other young men often?? Might be long.

Hello everyone to begin with I have no idea if I’m just being paranoid or if this is some sort of sex trafficking scheme, pyramid scheme, men hitting on me or life just throwing me some weird coincidences. Anyway I’m a 23M, Hispanic, 5,8, slim/average build. I’m not ugly but not super handsome either I pretty much just look like an average college student which I am. Okay so in the past year or so I’ve been approached like 10+ times by men in the grocery store (HEB & Target) about a business opportunity. These men are pretty young 28-35 range I would say. They always start with some sort of small talk maybe about what I’m looking at or what I’m wearing. Then proceed to ask me a question to see if I’m in college or what my job is. So I give them my little elevator pitch that I’m a marketing major, in business school, in the nations top sales program and blah blah blah whatever. They always seem to be interested after but say they have to go to find their gf/wife or some other excuse and ask for my number to talk about it on the phone. So I give them my number and just think it’s so weird that it happens so often. Like what are the chances that I happen to be in business school studying marketing and sales and one of those things always happens to be what they’re looking for it’s just weird. I have followed up with a few and they always want to schedule a “quick call” bc they don’t have much time. So during the call they never discuss anything about this “business opportunity” even if I ask they dodge my questions and just want to schedule to meet up in person somewhere in public. If you want to know more just ask. The point of all this is that happens to me so much even my gf finds it weird she’s says she’s never seen someone get approached by strangers so much in her life especially a guy and it has me wondering does this happen to other young men in grocery stores??? Idk if I’m just paranoid or legit missing out on some business opportunities. I know Houston is a huge sex trafficking city but I’m not sure if males are a big percentage of that. I need to know if this happens to others. Sorry for being so long but thank you if you read this all!
