Does it flood in Spring Branch? Interested in living there.

My husband and I are looking to move to Spring Branch, specifically Spring Shadows. We like the houses that are near Kempwood Dr./Kemp Forest Dr. and between Gessner and Blalock. We like the diversity, food, and community that Spring Branch has to offer.

We are concerned about the flooding in the area. Does anyone know if the area that we’re looking at flooded during Harvey or any of the recent hurricane and thunderstorms?

We also saw that the houses are really close to a middle school. Does anyone know if it gets noisy and if kids loiter?
