Does anyone’s citizens app shows "nearby incidents" as the entire city instead?

I turned on notification for just nearby incidents and I still get notification from all the way over in Greenspoint when I'm in freakin Katy. What's the point of calling it nearby since I'm nowhere near the incidents?

Anyone know if I'm supposed to have a different setting if i only want notification for incidents just within miles near me?
